What is society? How do people act? WHY do they act?

There is a place I like to be,

Homosexuals, Cutters, Punks, Death rockers,
Jocks, Geeks, Mentally Challenged,
You name it, we probably got it.

I have learned things from such diversity,
No matter what someone's customs may be, it
Generally doesn't reflect their personality.
And I have learned to accept people, no
Matter what they look like on the outside.

But how is it someone in a world of
Deversity can be so self conceeded?
What goes on at school that makes them be that way?

I honestly can't say for sure,
But I can assume.
Turns out I go to a public school,
Yeah, a public high school.
Anyone can go! No matter who they are.
I know weed sellers that are allowed there.
Hell even masochists are allowed.

But why am I excluded from a group...
Because of one of my body parts?
Because of my views, my ideas? I mean,
These people are in high school...right?
